OSHA is at your door; are you ready? DSP Safety Services has helped many customers through this difficult process. We help your team prepare to meet with OSHA personnel after receiving citations and even accompany you to the meeting. DSP can also help you evaluate and revamp your safety program to address anything OSHA may have noted and to be better prepared in the future.
Job hazard analysis.
Many owners, general contractors and customers are becoming more selective in their vendors. Many require their subcontractors or vendors to complete comprehensive JHAs, which take into account the recognized hazards on each facet of the job to ensure that the hazards are controlled. DSP Safety Services has assisted many customers in completing the necessary papers to allow them to work on the site.
DSP Safety Services can assess the hazards on your jobsite or contained within your facility. We look for OSHA violations, uncontrolled hazards, best practices for work activities and work safety improvements. Once the evaluation has been completed, DSP Safety Services will work with you to address and control the issues addressed in the evaluation report.
DSP Safety Services will walk the site to look for uncontrolled hazards, compliance with company safety rules, OSHA compliance and to evaluate the overall condition. A comprehensive report will be created as a result of the site’s inspection. This report will be emailed to the customer within 24 hours of the inspection to allow for prompt response to any issues raised in the inspection.
DSP Safety Services has the ability to use the dashboard-mounted camera to follow drivers or to observe loading and/or unloading procedures. This can be done without the knowledge of the drivers. This can assist companies in identifying hazards on routes or tasks and identify drivers that may need additional training.
Written program development.
DSP Safety Services can review your existing program or create one based on your company’s operations. Written programs are now even more important as owners and general contractors are requesting these in advance of your quote for services. Written programs are also reviewed by OSHA to determine how hazards have been addressed. They then review the conditions in the shop or field to see if the program has been implemented.
